This is an exceptional game on any platform, but iOS is undoubtedly the worst way to play it. This is another shockingly lazy port, little more than a recompilation with little or nothing done to adapt the game or consider ergonomics and user experience. This isn't just unimaginative, nor simply a missed opportunity, but actively undermines the quality of the game. So, on iPhone most of the screen space goes completely unused, while fonts intended for much larger screens become needlessly minuscule, squashed into a postage stamp in the centre of the phone's screen. The experience on iPad is incomparably better, and would have been the definitive way to play the game were it not hamstrung by the insistence on an internet connection even to be allowed to start the (single player, offline) game - so you'd better keep this mobile port at home...! So many obviously bad decisions have been made in this port that one struggles to understand how this happened.
