Hi @toemyint1990,

Here is how you can handle this situation to get your GitHub Student Developer Pack approved:

1. Select the Old University Name in the Dropdown:
Even if the official name has changed, select the previous/current listed name of your university from the GitHub Education dropdown menu.

2. Upload Document with Context:
When uploading your Student ID or official proof, make sure the document clearly shows your full legal name, current enrollment status/dates, and the institution details.

3. Use your Official School Email:
Ensure your university-issued email address (.edu or institutional domain) is added and verified in your GitHub account settings. This heavily speeds up the automatic verification process.

4. If Rejected, Contact GitHub Education Support:
If the automated check rejects your application due to the name mismatch, open a support ticket with GitHub Education Support. Provide official documentation or a link to your university's announcement showing the name change so the support team can update their database manually.

Hope this helps!
