Preserve channel argument conversion order - #9651
Let the existing ArgSpec::parse_with callback retain converted values through FnMut. It remains monomorphized; no new parser or boxed callback is introduced.
Reuse channel ID, integer, and truth-conversion results instead of invoking user-defined conversion methods a second time. This covers channel ID construction, close/release, list_interpreters, send, and send_buffer.
Preserve CPython's legacy PyArg_ParseTupleAndKeywords conversion order, including conversion before later missing/duplicate/unknown-keyword errors. Move create/recv conversions into that same shared parser and convert release's force argument even though its value is ignored.
Add five generic parser unit tests for mutable result retention, callback order, error precedence, and failure short-circuiting. No snippet tests were added.
The source reference is CPython v3.15.0 _interpchannelsmodule.c. Unlike _interpqueues, these functions still use the legacy parser, so replacing it with ordinary FromArgs or moving every conversion after validation would change observable behavior. Original FuncArgs owners remain alive across conversions, and channel locks are taken only afterward.
cargo clippy -p rustpython-vm --tests --features threading --offline -- -D warnings: passed after fixing two iterator-style warnings in the new tests.
Normal pre-commit hooks, standalone rustfmt checks, and git diff --check: passed.
Independent source review checked the format strings, defaults, conversion and error ordering, retained object ownership, and lack of new boxing/allocation overhead.
21 CPython 3.15.0 reference cases confirmed single conversion, force conversion, parameter order, and legacy error precedence. These verify the reference behavior, not execution of the RustPython implementation.
The new Rust tests were compiled but not executed locally. Full workspace/C API tests and RustPython test_interpreters.test_channels execution remain for hosted CI because the coordinated native-execution guard is unavailable. Existing timeout numeric-policy issues are outside this focused change; it does not claim complete channel conversion parity.

Implementation and validation were assisted by OpenAI Codex. Its exact model version is not exposed in this runtime.

Refactor
Interpreter channel arguments are now validated and converted as they are processed. Existing defaults and downstream behavior are preserved.
Argument checks run in parameter order and stop after a check fails. Missing-argument and extra-keyword errors are reported after checks for supplied values.
Allow shared ArgSpec converter callbacks to retain their results with FnMut. Reuse each channel ID, integer, and truth conversion instead of calling user code twice, and keep legacy conversion-before-binding-error precedence. Convert the ignored release force argument as CPython does. Cover the shared callback behavior with Rust unit tests.
Assisted-by: OpenAI Codex:model version not exposed
ArgSpec::parse_with now accepts mutable callbacks. Interpreter-channel functions use those callbacks to convert supplied values during argument parsing, while retaining their existing defaults and downstream behavior.
Changes: Argument parsing and interpreter channels
The conversion changes have no demonstrated blocking defect. Channel-level conversion tests and a stronger exception assertion would improve regression protection.

Explanation
The title "Preserve channel argument conversion order" matches the main change. The PR changes channel argument parsing so conversions run in CPython's legacy order, using FnMut callbacks in ArgSpec::parse_with and reusing converted values in _interpchannels. The title is short, specific, and names the primary behavior. The title does not mention the new callback mechanism or the release/force handling, but the changeset does not need every detail in the title.

Assert the callback's ValueError in conversion_failure_stops_before_later_parameters.
The test checks only result.is_err() and the visited list. It does not check the exception type or message. parse_with returns the callback's error unchanged, so a regression that replaces it with a generic argument error would still pass this test. Add an assertion that the error is a ValueError with the message conversion failed.

Update the assertions in conversion_failure_stops_before_later_parameters to
verify the returned error is a ValueError with the message “conversion failed,”
while preserving the visited-list assertion that confirms later parameters are
not processed.
Unverified finding
We couldn't verify this from the code. It is shown for review, not as a verified issue.
Test gap: the changed channel callbacks retain conversion results, but the supplied tests do not exercise a stateful __index__ or __bool__ through a channel API. Re-converting an argument after parsing would still pass the generic callback-count tests.
A side-effectful conversion can produce a different result or raise on its second invocation without a channel regression test detecting it.
This can occur when: A subsequent change uses a parsed channel argument instead of its retained cid or flag value, invoking a user conversion method a second time.
