Adds react-native-update next to hot-updater in Builds, Deployment & OTA Updates.

Disclosure: I maintain this project, so please hold it to the same bar as any other suggestion.

How it lines up with the contribution guidelines:

  • Actively maintained: in development since 2016; latest release 10.59.2 and commits within the past week.
  • Current React Native: supports the New Architecture and Hermes, works with Expo (SDK 50+ via prebuild), and also ships first-party HarmonyOS support.
  • Adoption: ~2k GitHub stars. Most of its users are in China and install through the npmmirror registry, so npmjs download counts understate actual usage.
  • Open source: MIT-licensed client and CLI. It can be used with a hosted service (Cresc globally, Pushy in China) or a private deployment.

What it adds alongside the existing entries: incremental patches with a Hermes-bytecode-aware diff (a one-line change ships in ~3.4 KB; benchmark and methodology are public at sunnylqm/hbc-diff-benchmark), automatic crash rollback, percentage-based staged rollouts, and JS error reporting with source-mapped stacks.
